Note: this role will suit a junior digital project manager with 1-3 years experience in website production projects, a recent graduate from a project management course, or someone looking to move sideways in digital and begin their career in digital project or client management.
The Opportunity:
As a Digital Project Coordinator, you will be working closely with the Project Manager's in keeping the wheels turning with the day-to-day operations of all new platform/website setups as well as taking the lead on your own projects when required. This typically involves:
- Coordinating timelines for new implementations
- Coordinating assets from the client
- Managing site amends and client updates
- Keeping the internal team updated on timings to ensure deadlines and project's scope of work are met
- Maintaining project documentation including scope of work, meeting minutes, change requests and handover documents
- Check project deliverables have been met on completion of a project
- Ad-hoc assistance including; implementation of registration forms, content pages, basic reporting, testing and QA
- Generally supporting the project manager to keep the operational wheels turning
We think you'll be successful if you:
- Understand the project lifecycle, from taking a brief through to a website going live
- Can show from Capstone projects or previous work experience how you've coordinated/communicated with multiple team members and have great follow up drive
- Are a great communicator (written and verbal) and love a fast-paced startup environment
- Can multi-task and manage multiple projects at different stages simultaneously, transitioning between them as needed
- Happy to chat with clients directly to discuss requirements and timings
- Have a hands-on attitude and a proactive, problem-solving spirit
